How Plumbers Replace Bathroom and Kitchen Sink Faucets

If you are considering upgrading your bathroom and kitchen sink faucets, you've come to the right place. The following explanation will make your task much easier and save your time too.

However, before you start, make sure you have ready the following materials with you. - The new faucet Assembly - Basin wrench - Adjustable wrenches - Pliers expansion joint - scouring pad

Now follow these simple steps. (Assuming that is replacing two old-handled faucet with the latest of a single type of treaties)

1. Before you begin, go to the closing of valves under the sink, turn off the water.

2. Open the faucet so that it can drain excess water.

3. The next step is to turn off the heat and the lines of cold water shutoff valves. You can use a small adjustable wrench to do this.

4. Reaching behind the key. You will find the coupling nuts that connect the feeding tubes of the key. Unscrew it using a basin wrench.

10. Now you are ready to make the new connection. Bring your new hose spray, and slide down through the hole spray.

11. The power sprayer hose through center faucet hole, and attach the sprayer hose through the nipple using an adjustable wrench.

12. If the supply pipes of hot and cold new key have different lengths, connect the flexible connectors for conditioning supply tubes. Keep your fixed-mount faucet with a wrench and tighten each connection with another key.

13. Insert and fuel supply lines and connectors on the center hole, and then the seat of the faucet.

14. Now climb under the sink and in order to keep the key in place, install a washer and nut to bolt-finals.

15. First, tighten the nuts by hand and then with a basin wrench.

16. Connect the supply lines to the valves and turn the water.

17. Turn in tap water and check for leaks.

Replacing bathroom sink faucets
1. Go under the sink. Turn off the water. Loosen the collar nuts on the drain.

2. Drain excess water and remove the drain.

3. Loosen the nuts that hold the pop-up of the Assembly in its place under the sink using Expansion joint pliers.

4. Unscrew the pop-up flange to free the Assembly under the sink.

5. Remove the accessories that are incorporated into the supply lines of the old key to the valves, using a spanner.

6. Repeat steps 4-15 as described above for replacement the kitchen faucet.

7. Now, you have to install the pop-up of the Assembly.

8. Push the bar pop-up through the tap body.

9. Place the flat bar.

10. In the bottom of the bridle again, use the little plumber's putty to hold the tailpiece so that the entire outstanding Assembly through the drain hole in the sink.

11. Rotate the ring to the position of the same with the tailpiece under the sink.

12. To ensure pop-up housing in place, tighten the nut on the top of the back piece.

13. Connect the pop-up lever on the flat bar, to ensure that the pop-up housing.

14. Place the stopper in the drain hole.

15. Replace the drain.

16. Tighten the nuts neck.

17. Open the faucet and check for leaks.

Therefore, the replacement of a kitchen and a bathroom faucet is almost similar, except for work related to the pop-up of the Assembly which is included with the bathroom sink.
